Amazonite Bracelet

Amazonite is a green variety of feldspar and is of limited availability. It was originally thought to be found only in Russia, but has more recently been found on Pike's Peak in Colorado and in Madagascar. Its name comes from the Amazon River, but it appears this stone is not actually found in that region. Rather, it was originally confused with another green stone near the Amazon.
